The Sonic Prescription – Harnessing Music Heal

Dr. Žak Ozmo, Founding Director and CEO of the Ozmo Institute for Neuroaesthetics, explores the healing power of music – its impact on memory, mood, immune response, and brain function. Drawing on clinical work with PTSD, autism, and cancer care, as well as his own experience as a war refugee – Dr. Ozmo offers a uniquely personal and evidence-based perspective on music’s role in recovery and resilience.

This immersive talk, set in the SoundRoom, features curated sound experiences that illustrate key neuroscientific insights. Through engaging stories and live demonstrations, participants will discover how music can serve as a powerful tool for healing, connection, and human flourishing.
